The Day of Defeat server has had it's base HLDS version updated to the latest release of 1.1.2.6 from August 10, 2018. AMXX has also been updated to v1.8.3-dev+5186.

11 years ago yesterday, on Saturday March 24 2007, AvaMods executed a top secret mission now known as 'Operation Crackhouse'.
The basic goal was to disrupt a rival server that was formed by several AvaMods regulars who left to start their own game server. The server was known as 'Cpl. Cracky's Crackhouse' and the clan tag they used was {cCc}. Several actions by those behind this new server made a response justified and necessary in order to defend our integrity and maintain our server as a Day of Defeat superpower.
A few of these actions were as follows:
- Advertising within the AvaMods server & outside the server in AvaMods related locations - Spamming AvaMods steam group members with their new server - Attempting to copy the AvaMods server setup and mod combination - Using the lure of 'admin privileges' to buy the loyalty of AvaMods members and regulars
AvaMods unleashed a full scale digital attack against the enemy, and almost instantaneously, gained mission results far beyond what had originally been deemed possible. Operation Crackhouse, in a single attack, managed to take out the website, the forums, and various other targets related to the opposition. After the successful outcome of this operation the Crackhouse ceased to be a formidable foe. Their server was down more often then it was running as well as having constant IP changes. Eventually they admitted failure and gave up on running a Day of Defeat server and instead switched over to TF2.
A select few of the surviving resources related to 'Operation Crackhouse' are now being made public. Some may or may not have previously been leaked out over the past decade, but they are now officially in the public domain...

Now hosted by Pope himself, the new server is a huge upgrade over what the AvaNet & AvaServer was able to provide. There might be a few kinks to work out over the next few days or so, but so far it appears to be a very smooth transition
So for the past month or so the server has decided to freeze up randomly, usually in the middle of the night (and it's the entire machine, not just the game server). I have been struggling to resolve it as I can not for the life of me figure out the cause. Some times it will happen after just a day or two of uptime, other times it will freeze up after a week or more. At first I assumed the likely reason was voltage related, but after raising them to higher then they should need to be it has still happened. I can run full blown stress tests for 24+ hours and it won't happen, and normal usage is nowhere near that much stress on the machine. Nothing else that I can think of has changed in months so I have no idea what could be causing this. And since the system logs are showing nothing related to the lock ups I don't even have a good idea of where to begin to resolve it.
So in the meantime, I'm sorry if the server/stats/etc are down, it should only be temporary until I am around and able to reboot it. I will continue to try and resolve the issue as well.....
